if someone has taken marine policy to cover the goods exported by him . under this policy goods have been insured against damage likely to be caused bt sea water. during the voyage a hole was caused at the bottom of the ship due to which goods insured got damaged . can he claim compensation for the loss? explain the related principle of insurance

Hyy I think he can't claim compensation for the loss because there is fault in his ship...
If the cause of loss is sinking of the sea or pirates then he can claim....
