If someone hits you in your stomach, it hurts badly. But a similar blow to your chest above the heart does not hurt so much. Why?

Explanation:

The internal organs intestines, stomach in the abdomen don't have any bones surrounding them. Hence ,it pains when someone hits your stomach.

while the internal organs in the chest cavity ,are protected by the rib-cage .

Hence, it doesn't pain as much as when someone's made your chest a punching bag...XD
