Since the other number is 5 times the other; the second number will be 5x
Now it is given to us that their sum is 86, So
x+5x=86
6x=86
x=86/6
x=14.333...
Now the first no.is x which is equal to 14.3
And the second no. is 5x=5x14.3=71.5
