Then ,sum of roots =-b/a

product of roots =c/a

Now compare given equation ax^2+2x+3a=0 with that equation.

we get, a=a , b=2 ,c=2a

sum of roots =product of roots

-b/a=c/a

-2/a=2a/a

-2=2a

a=-2/2

a=-1
