if sum of square of zeros of quardetic polynomial f(x) =x2-8x+k is 40 find the value of k​

Answer: x² -8x +k = f(x)

             α= -b/a = 8

             β= c/a = k

           α+β =40 [ given in the question ]

               8+K=40

              K= 40-8

              K= 32
