Let the required number be y.

According to given condition,

y+(-45)=28

→y-45=28

→y=73

Verification:

73+(-45)

=73-45

=28

Hence,verified

Additional info:

Integers are the set of numbers which have all whole numbers and the negative values of the same numbers (of course, expect zero).

Integral rules:

1.A number bearing positive sign when multiplied with a number bearing negative number, the product has negative sign

- × + = -

2. When two numbers having negative signs are multiplied, the product has positive sign

- × - = +

Integers are denoted by the alphabet Z.
