if the sun exploded, it won't be a black hole because it doesn't have enough mass to become a black hole. the sun has a capacity to become a white dwarf. to form a black hole, the star should be atleast 10 times the sun' mass or solar masses. let me show you something:

1. A star with 1.4 - 3.0 solar masses would become a white dwarf.

2. A star with 3.0 - 10.0 solar masses would become a neutron star

3. A star with 10 solar masses or above, will eventually become a black hole.
