Because the seven colours mix up and make white colour.

Each colour in the rainbow has different wavelength.Blue colour has the smallet wavelength whereas red colour has the longest wavelength.The things of our earth absorbed colours and the one colour which they reflect ,that is the colour of this thing.

That is why, sunlight is composed of seven colours but they do not appear coloured.
