if tan=1/2 and tan(A+B)=7/9 find the value of B​

tan(A+B)= (tanA+tanB)/(1-tanA*tanB)

Substitute given value of tan(A+B)=2

We get (tanA+tanB)/(1-tanA*tanB)=2

Also given tanB=1/2

Hence we get

(tanA+1/2)/(1-tanA*1/2) =2

Or (2tanA+1)/(2-tanA)=2

Or 2tanA+1=4–2tanA

Or 4tanA=3

Or tanA=3/4
