Given,

tan∅ = - 1

= - tan 45⁰

= - { - tan ( 180⁰ - 45⁰) }

= tan 135⁰

Therefore, ∅ = 135⁰

Now ,

sec∅+ cosec ∅

= sec135⁰+cosec135⁰

= sec ( 90⁰+45⁰) + cosec ( 90⁰+ 45⁰)

= - cosec 45⁰ + sec 45⁰

= -1/√2 + - 1/√2

= 0
