Solution :-
Given ,
- tanA = ¾
We need to find ,
- SecA & cosA
If tanA = 3/4 then the base will be 3 & height will be 4
Now , finding hypotenuse using Pythagoras theorem
Hyp² = base² + height²
→ Hyp² = 3² + 4²
→ Hyp² = 9 + 16
→ Hyp = √25
→ Hypotenuse = 5 units
Now finding secA & cosA
⇒ secA = Hypotenuse/Adjacent = 5/4
⇒ cosA = 1/secA = 1/(5/4) = 4/5
