betsybiju43: isnt the ans (-15)
prakz999: hw is it -15
betsybiju43: i did it in an other method and got -15
betsybiju43: tan
prakz999: ohhh
betsybiju43: tan (3x+90)=1 given. we know tan 45=1. therefore 3x+90=45 . 3x=45-90. 3x=-45. x=-45/3=-15
prakz999: yeah
shreyasi: Tan(90+3x)= -cot(3x)
betsybiju43: TAN (90-3X)= COT 3X

tan(90+3x)= tan(45)=1

Using trigonometric identity for tan fubction

90+3x=180n+45

3x=180n-45

x=60n-15

Where 'n' is any integer

So we get different values of x for different values of n like

x= -75, -15, 45, 115 etc.

betsybiju43: HOW IS THIS THE ANS
shreyasi: If you are in 11th you know this is the answer
shreyasi: You can take any of the given values for x all are correct
betsybiju43: BUT THIS IS FROM 10TH QUESTION PAPER
