GIVEN :

tan 3x = sin 45° cos 45° + sin 30°, then find value of x.

TO FIND :

Value of x = ?

SOLUTION :

⇛tan 3x = sin 45° cos 45° + sin 30°

⇛tan 3x = 1/√2 × 1/√2 + 1/2

⇛tan 3x = 1/2 + 1/2

⇛tan 3x = tan 45°

⇛3x = 45°

⇛x = 15°

Therefore, the value of x is 15°.

Step-by-step explanation:

tan3X= sin 45.cos45+sin30

tan3X= 1/root 2×1/root 2+1/2

tan3X =1/2+1/2

tan3X=2/2

tan3X= 1

since tan 45 = 1

hence 3X= 45

X=45/3

X=15

therefore X=15
