Steps of explanation :-)

Given - Tan A = 1/7

Tan B = 1/3

To Find - Cos A

Solution - Tan A =1/7=P/B

Then by Pythagoras theorem

H=under root 50

Cos A = B/H

Cos A = 7/under root 50

We don't have any need of Tan B !
