tan A = 18/17 & tan B = 1/35 tan A - tan B = [18/17 - 1/35] = [18 x35 - 17]/(17 x 35) = 630/595 and (1 + tan A.tan B) = 1 + 18/(17 x 35) = [17 x 35 + 18]/(17 x 35) = 630/595 Now, tan (A - B) = (tan A - tan B)/(1 + tan A.tan B) = [630/595]/[(630)/(595)] = [630/595] * [(595)/(630)] = 1

vineethavineetha: I too know that
iamalpha: Apply it
iamalpha: Or wait a minute
vineethavineetha: I applied answer is not coming in book answer is one
vineethavineetha: We should substitute and we should cancel the values??
iamalpha: Oh sry
iamalpha: I entered a slight misspelling of it

Formula:
tan(A − B) = (tan A − tan B) / (1 + tan A tan B)
Tan A=18/17,Tan B=1/35

∴tan(A − B) = (18/17 − 1/35) / (1 + 18/17×1/35)
                   = (18×35 − 17) / (17×35 + 18)
                   = 613 / 613
                   = 1
Therefore, tan(A − B) = 1

I hope this helps you ^_^
