tan∅ = 5/12

squaring both sides

tan²∅ = 25/144

we know

sec²∅ = 1+tan²∅ ( put tan∅ 's value)

sec²∅ = 1 + 25/144

sec²∅ = 169/144

square root both sides

sec∅ = 13/12
