Cos A = x/y -----( 1 )

SinA = √ 1 - cos² A

= √ 1 - ( x/y )²

= y / √( y² - x² ) ----( 2 )

TanA = sinA / cosA

= [ y/ √ ( y² - x² ) ]/ ( x/ y )

= y² / [ x ( √y² - x² ) ]
