GIVEN-

Tan A=4/3

TO FIND-

Sec A

SOLUTION-

Tan A =4/3

so,Tan^2 A =16/9

we know-

1+tan^2 A= Sec^2 A

1+(16/9)=Sec^2 A

25/9=sec^2 A

5/3=sec A

so, Sec A =5/3.

tanA= \frac{4}{3}

We \: know \: that,

tanA= \frac{Perpendicular}{Base}

\therefore By Pythagoras Theorem,

(hypotenuse)^2=(perpendicular)^2 + (base)^2

\implies (4)^2+(3)^2

\implies 16+9

\implies 25

\implies (hypotenuse)= \sqrt{2}{5}

\implies (hypotenuse)=5

\implies secA= \frac{hypotenuse}{base}

\therefore secA= \frac{5}{3}

\bold{\boxed{Hope \: it \: helps \: uh!}}
