Answer:

a = 37.5°

b = 7.5°

Step-by-step explanation:

If tan(a+b)=1 and tan(a-b)=1/√3, then find the value of a and b.

tan(a+b)=1

tan(a-b)=1/√3

we know that tan 45° = 1

& tan 30° = 1/√3

using these values

a+b = 45°   - Eq 1

a -b = 30°   - Eq2

Adding Eq 1 & Eq 2

2a = 75°

=> a = 37.5°

Eq 1 - Eq 2

2b = 15°

=> b = 7.5°
