tan A = cot B ------------ ( eq. i) { given }

also, tan A = cot ( 90 - A ) ------------ ( eq.ii ) { complimentary angle }

From eq. i & ii -

cot B = cot ( 90°- A )

⇒ B = 90° - A.

⇒ 90 ° = A + B.

⇒ A + B = 90 °. [ PROVED
