▶If tan A = cot B where A and B are acute angles, prove that A + B = 90°

tanA = cotB
=>tanA = tan(90°-B)
=>A = 90°-B
=>A+B = 90°.
(NCERT question).

tan ( 90 - X ) = cot X

Now ,

tanA = cotB

=> tan A = tan ( 90 - B )

=> A = 90 - B

=> A + B = 90°
