TanA = tan(90_B)
since cotA = tan(90_A)
> A =90_B
A+B =90

Given,

tan A = cot B

we know that ,cotB=tan(90-B)

Now,

tan A = tan ( 90 - B )

A = 90 - B

A + B = 90
