  • tanθ+secθ=l

  • tanθ=l−secθ

  • squaring on both sides, we get,

  • tan2θ=(l−secθ)2

  • sec2θ−1=l2+sec2θ−2lsecθ

  • l2−2lsecθ=−1

  • l2+1=2lsecθ

  • ⇒secθ=2ll2+1
