Your question is incorrect in place of cos it should be cot let us take it as cot then

and I dont have the option to write theta so in place of theta I am writing a

sin a + cot a

so, tan a = sin a(given)

tan a + 1/tan a ( we can write cot a as 1/tan a)

2tan a+1/tan a (taking lcm)

2+1 (tan a / tan a will get cancel)
