tan ( \alpha + \beta )= \frac{2a}{1-a^2}

tan (alpha+beta)=[tan(alpha)+tan(beta)]/[1-tan(alpha)*tan(beta)]
                          =a+a/1-2*a*a
                          =2a/1-a^2
