Answer:

The answer will be root 3 / 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given,

                         Tan Θ = 1 / root 3;          (i)

Now we know that,

                        Tan Θ = Opposite / Adjacent               (ii)

Hence from (i) and (ii);

                      Opposite = 1;

                     Adjacent = root 3;

From Pythagoras Theorem, we have to obtain hypotenuse;

So,                 Hypotenuse =     \sqrt{Adjacent^{2}  + Opposite^{2} }

                        H =    \sqrt{1^{2}  + \sqrt{3} ^{2} }

                        H =   \sqrt{1  + 3 }

                       H = \sqrt{4}

                       H = 2

Now, cos theta = adjacent / hypotenuse

        Cos Θ = root 3 / 2

Hence we got our answer i,e. \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2} .

That's all.
