\textbf{Given:}

tan\,\theta=1

\implies\bf\theta=45^{\circ}

\text{Now,}\;sec\,\theta

=sec\,45^{\circ}

=\displaystyle\frac{1}{cos\,45^{\circ}}

=\displaystyle\frac{1}{\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}}

=\sqrt{2}

\therefore\boxed{\bf\,sec\,\theta=\sqrt{2}}

value of secθ =√2

As , Given in the question

•tanθ = 1

on squaring we will get

•tan²θ = 1

Now we will Use identity ,

sec²θ = 1 + tan²θ

•sec²θ = 1 + 1

•sec²θ = 2

•secθ =√2

hence, we get value of secθ =√2
