We have to find the value of the expression

1-cosθ1+cosθ

From the above figure, we have

AC=AB2+BC2

=32+42

= 5

cosθ=45

Therefore

1-cosθ1+cosθ=1-451+45

=19

Hence, the value of the given expression is 1/9
