If Tan theta=3 then find sec theta

Answer:

here , tan∅ = 3

and

sec²∅ - tan²∅ = 1

=> sec²∅ - 3² = 1

=> sec²∅ -9 = 1

= > sec²∅ = 1 + 9 = 10

=> sec∅ = √10..

 { \sec}^{2}\theta  -  {(3)}^{2}  = 1

 { \sec}^{2}\theta  - 9 = 1

 { \sec}^{2}\theta  = 1+9

 { \sec}^{2}\theta = 10

 \sec\theta =  \sqrt{10}
