Answer:

if tan Φ = a / b

we know that tanΦ = sinΦ / cos Φ

if sin Φ = 1/ b and and cos Φ = 1 / a.

then tan Φ = 1/ b ÷ 1/a = 1 / b × a/1 = a/ b

cos Φ + sin Φ / cos Φ - sin Φ =

( 1/a + 1/b) / ( 1/ a - 1/ b )

= ( b + a) / ab ÷ ( b - a) / ab

= b + a / ab × ab / b - a. ( ab , ab get cancelled )

= ( b + a) / ( b - a )

so answer is ( b + a) / ( b - a )
