We have value of tan∅ = a/b. If we bring 'b' at another side then,
→ b tan∅ = a
To Find: (b sin∅ - a cos∅)/(b sin∅ + a cos∅)
In order to solve this equation, divide the numerator and denominator by cos∅.
→ [(bsin∅ - acos∅)/cos∅]/[(bsin∅ + acos∅)/cos∅]
→ [bsin∅/cos∅ - acos∅/cos∅]/[bsin∅/cos∅ + acos∅/cos∅]
→ (b tan∅ - a)/(b tan∅ + a)
→ (a - a)/(a + a)
→ 0/2a
→ 0
Hence final answer is zero (0).
