tanθ= r/s
(rsinθ - s cosθ)/(rsinθ + s cosθ)
dividing numerator and denominator by cosθ
[(rsinθ - s cosθ)/cosθ]/[(rsinθ + s cosθ)/cosθ]
=(rtanθ - s)/(rtanθ +s )
now putting the value of tanθ
[r(r/s)-s]/[r(r/s) +s]
=(r²-s²)/(r²+s²)
(rsinθ - s cosθ)/(rsinθ + s cosθ)
dividing numerator and denominator by cosθ
[(rsinθ - s cosθ)/cosθ]/[(rsinθ + s cosθ)/cosθ]
=(rtanθ - s)/(rtanθ +s )
now putting the value of tanθ
[r(r/s)-s]/[r(r/s) +s]
=(r²-s²)/(r²+s²)
