Given :  tanθ = √3 -1

To Find : sinθ.cosθ= √2/3

Solution:

sinθ.cosθ

∵ sinθ = cosθ tanθ

= cosθ tanθ . cosθ

=  cos²θ tanθ

= tanθ / sec²θ

= tanθ  /(1  + tan²θ )

tanθ = √3  - 1

tan²θ = 3 + 1 - 2√3  = 4 - 2√3

=  (√3 -1 ) / ( 1 +  4- 2√3  )

=  (√3 -1 )  /( 5 - 2√3)

= 0.476627

√2 /  3= 0.47140

Hence Both are not equal
