Given tanθ= 3 and θ is acute

Now θ lies in first quadrant, so value of θ will be 60 degree

Now value of 1+cosθ = 1+cos60 = 1+√3/2

Answer:

1.5 or 0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Tan theta = root3
theta = 60 or 240 degrees.
at theta = 60˚
1+cos theta =. 1+cos(60˚) = 1+ 1/2 = 3/2 = 1.5
at that = 240˚
1+cos theta = 1 + cos(240) = 1-1/2= 0.5
