Tan x =3/4
using the identity
 { \sec( x) }^{2} - { \tan(x) }^{2} = 1
 { \sec(x) }^{2} - {(3 \div 4)}^{2} = 1
 { \sec(x) }^{2} - (9 \div 16) = 1
 { \sec(x) }^{2} = 1 + 9 \div 16
 { \sec(x) }^{2} = 25 \div 16
sec x = 5/4

cos x = 1/sec x = 4/5
