tan thita=3/4 and tan thita=p/b

then using PGT theorem

base^2+perpendicular^2=hypotenuse^2

4^2+3^2=ac^2

16+9=Ac^2

25=Ac^2

5=AC

sec thita=h/b=5/4

cos thita=b/h=4/5

Answer :

  •  sec \theta = \frac{5}{4}
  •  Cos \theta = \frac{4}{5}

Solution :

Value of tanθ is given 3/4. we know that tanθ = p/b . it's means that Perpendicular is 3 and base is 4. Now, we can find the value of hypotenuse using Pythagoras theorem :-

\red\bigstar\:\boxed{\sf H^2 = P^2+B^2 }

Putting the values,

h² = b²+p²

h² = 3²+4²

h²= 25

h= 5

so,

• secθ = h/b=5/4

• cos thita=b/h=4/5
