If tan θ=cot θ...(1)
So, 
tan θ =   1  
            tan θ
tan²θ = 1 ...(2)
and
sec²θ  =     1   .....(3)
              cos²θ

We know that sin² θ + cos² θ =1

sin² θ + cos² θ = 1
(y)²+(x)² = 1

 y²+x² = 1
 r²   r²
 
 y²+x² = 1
   r²
  
   r² = 1
  r²

1 = 1

So ,next 

⇒tan² θ = sin² θ+cos² θ
⇒sin² θ   = sin² θ + cos² θ
   cos² θ
⇒   1      =  sin²θ + cos²θ
    cos²θ           sin²θ
⇒   1      = 1 + cos²θ⇔input equation 3
   cos²θ           sin²θ
⇒sec² θ = 1+cot² θ⇔input equation 1
⇒sec²θ  = 1 +tan²⇔input equation 2
⇒sec² θ = 1+1
   sec² θ = 2
