If tan threta= 1 then, find the values of sin threta + cos threta upon sec threta + cosec threta
plz answer my question it is my humble request
it is of 3 marks question​

Given:-

  • Tan θ = 1.

To find:-

  • Value of sinθ+cosθ / secθ+cosecθ.

Solution:-

We need to know :

From trignometric table ,

❥ Tan 45° = 1

❥ Sin 45° = 1/√2

❥ Cos 45° = 1/√2

❥ Sec 45°=√2

❥ Cosec 45° = √2

According to question ,

Given that Tan θ = 1.

∴ θ = 45°.

→ sinθ+cosθ / secθ+cosecθ...(1)

Now, subtituting the value of θ in (1) :

➥ sinθ+cosθ / secθ+cosecθ = sin45°+cos45° / sec45°+cosec45°.

⇒ (1/√2 + 1/√2 ) ÷ ( √2 +√2 )

⇒  ( 2/ √2) ÷( 2√2)

⇒ 1/2.

Hence, the ans is 1/2 .
