Answer: WE KNOW THAT COT(90-A)= TAN(A) SO HERE,

TAN(2A)= COT[90-(A-24]

2A=90-A+24, 2A+A=114, 3A=114, A=114/3=38.

THEREFORE A IS 38.     TIP- IF THERE ARE QUESTIONS LIKE THIS WHERE THEY ASK THE VALUE , THEN WE HAVE TO WRITE THE VALUE IN WORDS WITH THEREFORE LIKE I DID AS THAT STATEMENT CARRIES 1/2 MARKS.

HOPE IT HELPS :-).

Answer:

OK tan2A =cot(A- 24°)

2A=A-24°

A=A-24-2=22

2A=22

A=22/2=11

Hence A=11
