Answer:

If tan A = 3/4 = P/B

let perpendicular be 3x units.

and base be 4x units.

By Pythagoras Theorem,

H²=P²+B²

H²= (4x)²+(3x)²

H²=16x²+9x²

H²=25x²

H=√25x²

H=5x

ATQ,

1. Value of Sin A

Sin A = P/H

= 3x/5x

= 3/5

2. Value of Cos A

Cos A = B/H

= 4x/5x

= 4/5
