If tanA = cotB where A and B are acute angles, prove that A + B = 90º.

Hi ,

Given that tanA = cotB -----( 1 )

we know that cotB = tan ( 90° - B ),

We can write ( 1 ) as

tanA = tan( 90° - B )

If A , B are acute angles , then

A = 90° - B

=> A + B = 90°
