Given:-

 \tan \theta =  \large \frac{8}{5}

To find:-

  • Trignometric ratios

Solution:-

From attachment

 \divideontimes \:  \:  \:  \:  \sin \theta =  \frac{8}{ \sqrt{89} }

\divideontimes \:  \:  \:  \:   \cos \theta =  \frac{5}{ \sqrt{89} }

\divideontimes \:  \:  \:  \:   \sec \theta =  \frac{ \sqrt{89} }{5}

\divideontimes \:  \:  \:  \:  \csc\theta =  \frac{ \sqrt{89} }{ 8 }

\divideontimes \:  \:  \:  \:  \ \cot \theta =  \frac{5}{ 8 }

Additional information

  • Also we can find ratio by using identities
  •  { \sin  }^{2} \theta +  { \cos  }^{2}\theta  = 1
  •  {  \sec   }^{2} \theta = 1 +  { \tan }^{2} \theta
  •  { \csc }^{2} \theta = 1 +  { \cot }^{2} \theta
