if tanx=-1/3 find sin x/2, cosx/2 x lies in 4th quadrant ​

I think it's -1/√3 not -1/3

tan x = -1/√3

x = arctan -1/√3

x = 330°

as it lies in 4th quadrant

sin x/2 = sin 165°

= - √[(1-cos330°)/2]

= - [√(2-√3)]/2

cos x/2 = cos 165°

= √[(1+cos330°)/2]

= [√(2+√3)]/2
