Answer:

Tap A's is one hour work=1/15

Tap B's is one hour work=1/24

Tap C's is one hour work=1/30

A/Q

(1/15)+(1/24)-(1/30)

therefore ANS is 800 minutes or 13 hours and 20 minutes

tap A can fill a tank in 15 h

in 1 hour it can fill=1/15 of the tank

, tap B in 24 h

in 1 hour it can fill =1/24of the tank

tap C can empty the tank in 30 h

in 1 hour it can empty =1/30 of the tank

therefore if they opened togethrly then

in 1 hour they will fill

 \frac{1}{15}   +  \frac{1}{24}  -  \frac{1}{30}  \\  =   \frac{1}{30}   +  \frac{1}{24}  \\  =  \frac{24 + 30}{30 \times 24}  \\  =  \frac{3}{40}

so to fill the tank they will take...=40/3 hrs

=13.33 hr
