Answer:

260/3

T-- 20 (in alphabetical order)

E-- 5

A-- 1

Multiply above and divide by no. Of terms

20*5*1/3. == 100/3

Similarly,

M-- 13

A--1

T--20

13*1*20/3. == 260/3

Hope it helps

All the best!!

Answer:

Mat is coded as \frac{260}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Explanation :

Given , tea is coded as \frac{100}{3}

Here we see that  A is the 1st letter in the English  alphabet

E is the fifth letter in the English alphabet  and

T is the 20th letter in the English alphabet

There fore , A = 1 , T = 20 and E = 5

Step 1:

Product of 1, 20 and 5 = 100

Now , if we divide 100 by no. of total  term in tea which is 3 than we get

\frac{1.20.5}{3} =\frac{100}{3} .

So , here we can see that the result is  exactly the tea is coded

Step2:

Similarly , we find out the code of mat

So , M is the 13th letter in the English alphabet

A is the 1st letter in the English  alphabet

T is the 20th letter in the English alphabet

So , we have M = 13, A = 1 and T = 20

Product of 1, 13, and 20  is 260  and the no. of term in mat is 3

\frac{1.13.20}{3}  = \frac{260}{3}

Final answer :

Hence , mat is coded as \frac{260}{3}
