If temperature of sun is decreased by 1% then the value of solar constant will change by(1) 2%(2) -2%(3) 4%(4) -4%

solar constant directly proportional to forth power of it's Absolute Temperature

k ~ T^4

now....

k1 ~ T1^4 & k2 ~ T2^4

k2/k1 = (T2/T1)^4

k2 = [(T2/T1)^4] × k1

if T1 = 100

then T2 = 100 - 1 = 99

then...k2 = (99/100)^4 ×k1

k2 % = (k2/k1) × 100 %

k2% = (99/100)^4 ×100

k2% ~ 96%

hence k2 decreases by 4% (100-96)
