if Teta is the angle made by the line with x-axis, then slope of the line m=tan teta .why can't we use other five trigonometric ratios to find the slope of the line

It is wrong that we can't used other five trigonometric ratios to find the slope of the line. But if we used tan then is easy to find the value of the slope of the line because in our co ordinate system we easily get the value of base and perpendicular. But we can find the value of the slope of any line from a different trigonometric ratio because they are related with each other.
