Hey!!!!

Good Afternoon

_________

We have

=> 2x + 3y = 8
and
=> xy = 2

To Find : 4x² + 9y²

Procedure : 2x + 3y = 8

Square both sides

=> (2x + 3y)² = 64

=> 4x² + 9y² + 2(2x)(3y) = 64

=> 4x² + 9y² + 12(xy) = 64

=> 4x² + 9y² = 64 - 24 (xy = 2)

=> 4x² + 9y² = 40 (Answer)

___________

Hope this helps ✌️

shubham756: good afternoon and thanks
