Step-by-step explanation:

(-5/7)⁴ × (-5/7)¹² = (-5/7)³* × (-5/7)-¹

(-5/7)⁴+¹² = (-5/7)³*-¹

(-5/7)¹6 = (-5/7)³* -¹

Now, taking only powers = 16 = 3x -1

=> 3x = 16 - 1

=> 3x = 15

=> X = 15/3

=> X = 5

The value of X is 5
