SOLUTION :

Given : tan A = ¾ , A + B = 90°

A + B = 90°

B = 90° - A

On putting cot on both sides,

cot B = cot (90° - A )

cot B = tan A

[ cot (90° -θ ) = tan θ )]

cot B = ¾

[tan A = ¾]

Hence, the value of cot B is ¾ .
